Resilience to me is that quality that determines our tenacity of working in adverse conditions and a rusty environment that affects business economies and also affects the revenue earning capacity of businesses.

Prior to co-founding this organization, Kishore has had 40 years of experience working with multinational and Indian Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Companies as well as two NGOs associated with Elderly Care and Child Care.
Let’s learn a little about you and really get to experience what makes us tick – starting at our beginnings. Where did your story begin?
Kishore Shintré: My story began four years ago on a flight from Singapore to Mumbai when I suffered a massive heart attack and was given a lease of life by timely admission to hospital followed by angioplasty, was in the Intensive Care Unit for a couple of days and then a month-long rest at home. This is where I had enough time away from my work priorities and I was pulled more on the spiritual side of life considering that God has given me another life that should enrich other peoples’ lives and I should aim at making others’ “lives” and not just a living for them.Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
Kishore Shintré: Yes, I met Sonia Bedi on the LinkedIn platform (@soniabedi) as an entrepreneur in Human Resources based in Canada. We got to interact with each other on various aspects of life and how we could inspire these people on the platform by forming a narrative that talks about life’s experiences and sharing wisdom and knowledge gathered over the years. This triggered the thought process of co-founding our organization which will work towards making people’s lives who needed help in imbibing positive energy, and vibes that will inspire them to chase their dreams without being afraid. What are the most common mistakes you see entrepreneurs make and what would you suggest they do?
Kishore Shintré: We have seen through years of corporate experience in various geographies and cultures that people who jump into the entrepreneurial bandwagon want quick results to come in. What they need to follow is a systematic process through a lot of patience and perseverance in taking up multiple projects at a time and this is where the focus is generally lost and we have seen people getting lost into some kind of maze in getting their priorities right.Resilience is critical in critical times like the ones we are going through now. How would you define resilience?
Kishore Shintré: Absolutely, resilience is the name of the game if you wish to survive this pandemic situation worldwide. Resilience to me is that quality that determines our tenacity of working in adverse conditions and a rusty environment which affects business economies and also affects the revenue earning capacity of businesses. The resilience means that your organization needs to chart the virgin territories of work area you have never been before in order to survive and grow. What is most important to your organization—mission, vision or values?
Kishore Shintré: It is the combination of mission, vision, and values that make an organization robust. When we made our mission statement of “making people’s lives and not just making living” what we meant was that we were not around to help them make their own bread and butter but to get their journey into a more spiritual and philosophical one which will inculcate a behavior that reflects a far-sighted vision of achievements of their goals and dreams and at the same time not compromising on their value system. You are a successful business leader. Which three character traits do you think were most instrumental to your success?
Kishore Shintré: The most important criteria for any successful business leader is that:- First, the entrepreneur needs to create future leaders of their organization who can take up higher responsibilities
- Secondly, the business should look at both short term goals of survival and long term goals for sustainable growth and
- Finally, the business should aim to inculcate a team spirit which will make the organization an inspiring place to work and people should come forward to share their responsibilities with the requisite authority
Being a CEO of the company, do you think that your personal brand reflects your company’s values?
Kishore Shintré: Well, it is absolutely essential in today’s business scenario that the business leader (CEO), or whatever you name him or her, is the Personal Branding of the person who heads the organization through their own value system. People look up to you as their leader and they should get inspired and motivated looking at the personal brand of the CEO what value system he is going to deliver to his company and his employees to succeed in achieving their common goals. How would you define “leadership”?
Kishore Shintré: I define Leadership as the “Quality of a person in taking responsibility for his actions in the interest of the company and empowering more people to take up more responsibilities so that they will be inspired to take up leadership position themselves in days to come”.What would you say is the main difference between starting a business at the time you started yours and starting the business in today’s age?
Kishore Shintré: Yes, our generation has fortunately seen the days of mainframe computers occupying the entire room in the IT department and we worked on telex and teleprinters and facsimile machines to emails and now the smartphone era of social media. Today’s generation is internet savvy and they have access to high-speed wifi and connectivity of business through electronic and social media which is so powerful for taking your organization to the top with high acceleration. What’s your favorite “leadership” quote and how has it affected the way you implement your leadership style?
Kishore Shintré: “Through simple methods of sharing life’s experiences, philosophy, and knowledge we have gained through years, we are sure you will find this New Day New Chapter very exciting and interesting to support new entrepreneurs in becoming successful in their businesses”.
